SCHEDULE: 

  • Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Overtime possible)

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Answer inbound calls from sales staff, distributors, and customers regarding the order fulfillment process
  • Handles order entry, order processing, and tracking orders
  • Communicates with clients, as required
  • Manages physical inventory and reconciles with inventory database system
  • Prepares sampling kits for distribution
  • Quotes and books national (and international, if required) freight.
  • Manages the online store by coordinating on-site inventory with on-line inventory
  • Suggests and implements ways that our e-commerce can improve and stay in-tune to our clients’ needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and interpersonal
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, follow-up and meet deadlines

  • Familiar with major shipping carriers (i.e., UPS, FedEx, etc)
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience with some type of inventory management or procurement software.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree or equivalent training in business, customer service or sales function.
  • Must have minimum two (2) years of experience in relevant environment or industry
  • Customer service experience
  • Computer Inventory Management experience preferred
  • Experience with databases or LIMS systems

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • An interest in sciences, e.g., Biology
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds
  • All hires will need to confirm their eligibility to work in the United States by participating in the USCIS e-Verify program
  • Candidates will be required to participate in a pre-employment drug and background screen according to State law
