Aerobiology Laboratory currently has eight AIHA EMLAP accredited laboratories across the United States that support culturable water, air, surface and bulk bacterial analysis. Culturable bacterial analysis include Legionella pneumophila, Escherichia coli (E. coli), Heterotrophic Plate Count (HPC), Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus anthracis, and Enterococcus.

With state-of-the-art identification methods using MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometer technology,  we’re are able to offer rapid and definitive bacterial speciation. Our Atlanta laboratory can analyze your water samples using real time qPCR, a rapid molecular method used to detect and quantitate Legionella pneumophila and Legionella species in potable and non-potable water.

We can provide a comprehensive menu of analysis for Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) such as Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA),

Non-tuberculosis Mycobacterium (NTM), Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae,  Acinetobacter species and other emerging opportunistic pathogens.
